Denpasar, Bali – Bali Villa Connect (BVC), the annual flagship program initiated by the Bali Villa Rental and Management Association (BVRMA), returns as a strategic platform that brings together villa owners, property managers, investors, and tourism industry stakeholders across Indonesia.
The event is designed to strengthen the villa industry ecosystem through a combination of expo, forum discussions, and networking sessions, addressing key topics such as market trends, business strategies, service innovation, and sustainable villa management to support the future growth of Indonesia’s tourism sector.
Chairman of BVRMA, Kadek Adnyana, announced that Bali Villa Connect 2026 will take place on Tuesday–Wednesday, May 26–27, 2026, from 08:00 to 18:00 WITA, at the Bali Sunset Road Convention Center, Denpasar.
This year’s theme, “Elevating Indonesia’s Villas Industry to Global Standards,” reflects the rapid growth of villa accommodation, particularly in Bali and other emerging destinations across Indonesia.
According to Adnyana, this growth must be accompanied by comprehensive improvements in zoning and development planning, regulatory compliance, certified human resources, service standards, as well as environmental and cultural sustainability, to ensure long-term competitiveness in the global market.
“The villa industry holds significant potential to become a key pillar of high-quality tourism. However, without proper standards and governance, this growth may not be sustainable. Bali Villa Connect aims to ensure that the industry evolves professionally, competitively, and in harmony with local values,” said Adnyana.
Strategically, BVC 2026 also serves as a platform to drive the transformation of the villa sector from a largely fragmented market into a more structured, data-driven, and quality-oriented industry. This aligns with the increasing global demand for private accommodations that prioritize personalization, privacy, and flexibility.
The event is organized by a dedicated committee composed of BVRMA members who contribute on a voluntary basis, in collaboration with a professional event organizer and with support from local government authorities and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia.
Organizing Committee Chair, Agung Juliarta, stated that Bali Villa Connect 2026 aims to attract over 1,000 participants from various sectors, including villa management companies, villa operators, villa rental platforms, travel agents, PMS technology providers, and other supporting industries.
The event will feature a diverse lineup of speakers, including academics, representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, regional government officials, licensing authorities, industry practitioners, environmental advocates, as well as media and influencers. In addition, an exhibition area will showcase sponsors and local MSMEs, supporting inclusive economic growth.
The event is scheduled to be officially opened by the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia.
Through Bali Villa Connect 2026, BVRMA invites all tourism stakeholders to strengthen collaboration in building a villa industry that is high-quality, sustainable, and capable of delivering broader economic benefits to the community.
“We believe the future of tourism in Bali and Indonesia lies in quality, not just quantity. With strong collaboration, the villa industry can become a model for how tourism creates meaningful impact, even at the grassroots level,” Adnyana concluded.
