WHAT is BVRMA? BVRMA (Bali Villa Rental & Management Association) is a professional association representing villa rental agencies and villa management companies in Bali. The association aims to promote legal, transparent, and standardized business practices within the villa rental and management industry.
Requirements to Become a BVRMA Member To become a member of BVRMA, a business must be legally registered (PT, PT PMA, or CV), hold a relevant KBLI aligned with its business activities such as villa management or villa agency, and complete all business legalities including NIB, NPWP, and OSS licensing. Members are also required to comply with the association’s code of ethics and regulations.
What is a Villa? A villa is a residential property operated as a rental accommodation for guests (tourists). Villas can be rented on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. They are private properties (unlike hotels) and typically feature complete facilities such as bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen, swimming pool, and garden. What is a Building Permit? A building permit is an official authorization stating that a building has been planned and constructed in compliance with zoning regulations, technical standards, and safety requirements, and is therefore legally and functionally approved for use.
What is an Operational Permit? An operational permit is a business license that legally authorizes the owner or operator to run business activities, including operating a villa as a tourism accommodation, in accordance with OSS licensing requirements and applicable regulations.
What is Villa Rental? Villa Rental refers to the business activity of renting out villas to guests on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as part of the tourism accommodation sector.
What is a Villa Agency? A Villa Agency is an intermediary that focuses on marketing villas, including promotion and booking management, without being directly involved in the daily operations or physical management of the property.
What is Villa Management? Villa Management refers to comprehensive villa management services covering daily operations, housekeeping, maintenance, marketing, guest handling, tax administration, and reporting, with the objective of ensuring the villa is operated professionally, legally, and optimally as a business.
